“New standards for the post-2030 era” and “Effective moral education.” 国連世界データフォーラム2026 提案書

I plan to give a Short ignite/lightening talk on “New standards for the post-2030 era” and “Effective moral education.” In 12–15 minutes, I will use slides/videos and answer questions via the chat/Q&A feature in the online event platform.

New standards: I propose adding six indicators to UNdata: crime incidents, suicide deaths, recorded bullying cases, child-abuse consultations, traffic fatalities, and traffic accidents.
Reducing them is essential for sustainable development after 2030.
Japan publishes these by prefecture, so other countries can compile and disclose them.
I also propose compiling them by city/town and posting them prominently on local government websites to raise awareness and accountability.
In Japan, some municipalities publish local figures, and I am seeking more visible disclosure through petitions.

Effective moral education: To reduce these indicators, effective moral education is indispensable.
We need more people who do not harm others, help those in distress, and follow traffic rules. For education to work, “morality” must be defined clearly.
I define morality as the discipline (rules) that maintains “a society where everyone can feel happy”: no war/crime/bullying/suicide, low poverty/unemployment, basic needs met, and safe, healthy, educated lives for all ages.
For 20+ years I have researched morality and clarified right/wrong and judgment criteria, human value, key qualities, and relationship principles.
This is not the only definition, but education at home and school worldwide, and media that promotes moral influence while limiting harmful influence, are vital.
